I wish to acknowledge the services of Christopher Lacharity during the purchase of 6088 Knights Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. I found that he conducted himself in a thorough and professional manner in the three phases of the transaction. During the property search, he patiently undertook the examination of over twenty properties under consideration. Not only did this entail organizing the showing in an effective and efficient manner but also conducting the background research and advice. The offer and acceptance phase, proved to be complicated and lengthy to the point of negotiations proceeding until 1 AM. At no point did his support and advice waver. Finally, while proceeding towards possession date he continued to provide assistance. Given that I was moving from out of province, there were a myriad of details that had to be accomplished. These ranged from finding temporary accommodations, document transfers, insurance, legal referral, etc. All of which were achieved through his unflagging support. I’d like to start off that I’ve known and dealt with Chris Lacharity his entire real estate career. From the beginning Chris has always demonstrated professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic towards his clients and the opposing real estate agents in my dealings with him.

I’ve been a multi-million dollar luxury custom home builder in Ottawa high end market and some commercial builds for over 17 years now. Chris Lacharity has represented me during these years.

Chris is all about the clients and the clients needs and to show you this in his humble beginnings before he was making the money he was and I was in my beginnings. I had built a $2.3M home in Rothwell Heights and unfortunately for myself it had taken me longer then possible to acquire the proper refinancing and the market wasn’t what it was today. Firstly Chris brought an Embassy as a rental to keep me going and upon this he didn’t stop searching and doing everything necessary to find a buyer. Finally to show Chris’s true qualities of kindness, compassion, generosity even I. The business world he brought a buyer finally. It started $700,000 under asking. Rather then panic as a new builder Chris said it’s an offer on paper and now they’re emotionally invested. It took 7 days of hard work on his part going back and for the with the client and he actually got them up over $500,000 enough to close the deal and pay the mortgage. My problem was there wasn’t enough to pay his commission. Rather then allow me to fail and lose the deal Chris said it’s ok I’ll make sure you succeed and I won’t get paid on this deal. There will be many more deals for me to get in the future.

In the end 17 years later Chris is a far more experienced agent, his network vast and his colleagues that have learned and work with him being the same work ethic to his clients.

And for this 17 years later Chris is still selling, buying my homes and has created a long term dedicated relationship to my business and family.
